Our team at Prairie Home Builders is here to help you. Through years of experience, we have perfected a process that will work for you. Below is a brief description of each step.
Browse our various plans to help find the one that suits your needs. Our plans are fully customizable.
Check out the lots that we have available. Want a lot that we don’t own or already own your lot? We can work with that too!
After you choose your lot and plan, we will price it all out with all of the upgrades that you select. Once finalized we will sign a building agreement and head to the drafting and construction phase.
After signing the building agreement our in-house Drafter will begin working on customizing a plan for you.
Our drafter will work with you and your realtor to help accomplish your dream floor plan.
You will also meet with the drafter to discuss electrical options and final plan review before you approve your plans.
Once plans are approved they are sent to the city for permiting.
Construction starts soon after all permits are processed and approved.
The time frame for completion is roughly 6 months from when we break ground on your new home.
During this time buyers will reach out to vendors and schedule appointments for selections.
Our Project Manager and repsresentavives will stay in touch with you throughout the process and make sure you are involved and kept up to date with the major construction stages.
Buyers are also allowed to visit the site throught construction.
The construction schedule and change orders are all tracked on buildertrend.net - you will get an invite to create an account.
When we approach the trim/paint stage, we will put out the final schedule that will include the completion date. At this point you will make arrangements with your lender and get ready for the closing.
The night before each closing the home is cleaned inside leaving you with a sanatized and clean home for closing day.
At the finish line, our superintendent does a thorough walk through with all buyers. During the closing walk they will go through the new home orientation with you, explain the warranty process and complete any necessary touch-ups. You will be given a binder with care instuctions, emergency contacts, a copy of your house plans, ect..
Closing day! The title company will handle the final paperwork and you will get the keys to your new Prairie Home!
Every new home will come with a one year warranty starting the day of closing.
Buyers will have a 45 day and 11 month review with our warranty manager, where they are free to address questions or concerns pertaining to the construction of their home.
